Job summary

ESM - Events and Sports Management seeks an Athletics / Track & Field Specialist Coach to deliver high-quality technical sessions across all levels, from Mini Athletics to high-performance pathways, while leading curriculum and mentoring squads.

The role blends hands-on coaching with curriculum design, programme leadership, and broader operational duties within AIS Athletics at ESM Academies, driving athlete-centred performance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

England Athletics Level 1 Coach (minimum); Level 2 or above preferred for performance/elite.
World Athletics Level 1/2 Coaching Certificate or above.
UAE Athletics Federation Coaching Licence or equivalent recognised by UAE Athletics Federation or UAE NOC.

Responsibilities

Curriculum design for all performance levels from Mini Athletics to Performance Pathway.
Manage operations of athletics programme; implement training plans and monitor athlete progress.
Provide tailored technical coaching across the curriculum for fundamental, development and elite levels.
Participate in Technical Athletics Committee; contribute to philosophy and strategic direction for athletics.
Identify and attend CPD workshops/seminars to enhance coaching quality.
