Job summary

Arada in the United Arab Emirates is seeking an experienced tower crane technician to perform safe assembling, erection, climbing and dismantling of tower cranes, and to inspect and maintain mechanical and structural components.

You will follow approved method statements, lifting plans and manufacturer instructions, and provide service reports upon completion, while strictly adhering to PPE and height safety requirements.

Responsibilities

Role Purpose

Perform safe assembling, erection, climbing, and dismantling tower cranes, and perform inspection, maintenance and repairs of mechanical and structural tower crane components as per approved method statements, lifting plans and manufacturer instructions.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform assembling, erection, climbing, and dismantling of tower cranes.
• Loading and off-loading of tower crane components.
• Perform preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance.
• Inspect mechanical and structural components of the tower crane
• Provide service reports after completion of the assigned task.
• Strictly adhere to safety requirements for PPE and working on height.

Experience

3–5 years of tower crane erection and mechanical maintenance experience; relevant technical qualification preferred.
