Job summary

1Recruit International in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a qualified Test Engineer to join our UAE team, supporting public safety and security solutions projects across critical assets, smart cities, and border protection.

You will update SIT/SAT/OSAT docs, perform testing and commissioning, design test structures, and develop automated testing tools, with a must-have background in QA methodologies, networking, and Windows server environments.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in quality control and testing.
• Experience in QA methodologies (design, implement and execute).
• Experience in testing wireless and wired communications.
• Familiarity with MS Windows Server/Active Directory, networking concepts.

Our client, one of the fastest growing public safety and security solutions organisations globally, is looking to recruit a qualified and experienced Test Engineer to their UAE team. Our employer seeks a proven performer to assist on their main projects in the region, which include the implementation of advanced integrated security solutions for critical assets, safe city and border protection.

Reporting to the HQ Engineering Integration Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Update and maintain SIT / SAT / OSAT documents
• Testing and Commissioning product features and components
• Participate in all aspects of quality control, including reviewing requirements, developing test structures (concepts, plans and cases) and testing the product
• Design, implement and execute system level tests and product feature tests
• Develop and maintain automatic testing tools

Essential attributes include:

• Degree qualified in Engineer in a relevant field
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in quality control and testing related platforms
• Experience and knowledge in QA methodologies (Design, implement and execute)
• Experience in testing wireless and wired communications
• Experience with MS Windows Server and Workstation in Active Directory environment
• Knowledge of networking, TCP/IP, VLANS, routers and switches
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills is essential
• Excellent English verbal, reading and writing skills is essential
• Current Driver’s licence is essential
