JOB SUMMARY

Looking for a tattoo artist applies a temporary design directly to a client's body. Clients may come to a tattoo artist with a picture or design in mind or they may consult with the tattoo artist to create the desired image. Tattoo artists use their artistic skills to advise clients on the size, design, and placement of their body art.

With prior experience in Henna/ Tattoo designing preferred for those doing permanent tattoos before. Must have references and portfolio to submit.

Some tattoo artists specialize in certain artistic styles. Tattoo artists are responsible for maintaining a safe and clean work environment, including doing gloves when working all the time, sterilizing the area before and after each tattoo application, and ensuring that all work surfaces are properly disinfected to avoid the spread of viruses.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The following job responsibilities are common for individuals in tattoo artist roles:

Apply temporary organic ink to client skin in requested designs and patterns freehand.

Use a variety of tools and techniques to apply tattoo designs.

Create designs for clients or apply designs selected or submitted by clients.

Ensure proper sanitizing and care of tools to prevent the spread of disease and infection.

Educate clients on appropriate care of tattoos.

• Cleans items before to be painted
• Maintains stock levels of all items required for the completion of duties
• Manages OH&S and environmental hazards in the paint bay and workplace
• Helping clients to select a suitable design and resizing and adapting images.
• Drawing up bespoke designs freehand
