About the job TELECOM ENGINEER

We are seeking a skilled Telecom Engineer to support the design and engineering of telecommunications systems for onshore oil and gas projects. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in FEED and Detailed Engineering, with familiarity in ADNOC or other Middle Eastern project standards being a significant advantage.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist in the execution of telecom engineering activities from FEED through Detailed Design and provide support during construction phases.
  • Develop engineering deliverables including:
    • Telecom design basis
    • Equipment specifications
    • Data sheets
    • Block diagrams
    • Cable schedules
    • Equipment layouts
  • Ensure compliance with international standards and client-specific requirements, especially ADNOC specifications where applicable.
  • Collaborate with other engineering disciplines (Instrumentation, Electrical, Process, Civil) to ensure effective telecom system integration.
  • Support technical reviews, design validation workshops, and coordination meetings.
  • Interface with vendors for technical clarifications and assist in vendor document reviews.
  • Participate in the preparation of technical requisitions, bid evaluations, and procurement support.
  • Ensure telecom designs meet safety, cybersecurity, and operational reliability standards.
  • Support the lead telecom engineer in guiding junior team members when needed.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 7-12 years of relevant experience in telecom engineering within the onshore oil and gas industry.
  • Experience in FEED and Detailed Engineering phases is essential.
  • Knowledge of telecom systems such as:
