Job summary

GMG is seeking a skilled technician to repair and assemble gym equipment. You will test units, ensure safety, and maintain accurate workshop inventory, acting as the face of the company during service visits.

The role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience in sports gear repair, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work safely in a dynamic environment. On-site position in Dubai, UAE.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent;Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in gym equipment repair or maintenance.
• Experience repairing and maintaining sport/gym equipment is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Repair and assemble fitness equipment according to product specifications.
• Test units after installation to ensure full functionality.
• Keep workshop inventory up to date and organized.

About the role

• Repairs and assembles fitness equipments as per the requirements and specifications of the product/ Brand
• Tests the unit once installed to ensure all functionalities are properly running
• Keep the inventory of the workshop updated.
• Provide feedback on repairs and be a part of the mechanic and office team.
• Be customer service oriented and personable, educates customers on service features and functionality as you are the face of our company when you deliver & service machines.
• Follows all safety rules and regulations while installing and testing the equipments.
• Ensures that all tools and equipment used during work are in good, safe working order
• Refurbishes and fabricates the returned and damaged fitness machines as necessary Performs other responsibilities and tasks as required or as directed by line manager

About the requirements

• High School / Diploma – Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in repairing and maintaining Sport / Gym Equipment is mandatory.
