Job summary

A leading engineering company in Dubai is seeking a skilled CNG Technician to perform maintenance on compressor packages in the oil and gas sector. The ideal candidate will have over 25 years of experience and a diploma in Mechanical & Electrical. A valid UAE driving licence is required. This is a full-time role with responsibilities including preventive maintenance and operational support.

Qualifications

• 25 years of experience in the maintenance department in the oil and gas industry.
• Knowledge of reviewing P&L and electrical drawings.
• Can work with a minimum of supervision and manage multiple tasks.
• Should have a valid UAE driving license.

Responsibilities

• Carry out monthly preventive maintenance for compressor packages.
• Involve in commissioning and operational activities.
• Attend breakdowns and carry out necessary repair works.
• Conduct routine tests for intake system and compressors.
• Prepare and send preventive and corrective reports to Maintenance Engineer.
• Inspect and monitor CNG package for smooth operation.
• Maintain proper housekeeping in compressor package.

Job description

CNG Technician

Responsibilities

Carry out monthly preventive maintenance activities for compressor packages as per schedule.

Involve in the commissioning & and operational activities of the compressor package.

Carry out any jobs that need emergency rectification at the compressor package (Mechanical & Electrical) and at the dispenser filling station.

Attend all assigned breakdowns promptly carry out necessary repair works and ensure that equipment is returned to service as soon as possible.

Conduct a routine test for the intake system air compressors CNG compressor electrical control gas management panel water cooling system and dispenser filling point.

Preventive and corrective reports to be prepared and sent timely to the Maintenance Engineer.

Rectify minor case of major problems report to the Maintenance Engineer for advice.

Inspect and monitor the CNG package for smooth operation.

Should be aware of electrical PLC and instrumentation troubleshooting when necessary.

Record parameters and other readings on daily basis.

Contributes to team effort by achieving related results as needed.

Respond to any direction provided by the Maintenance Engineer on the shift.

Maintain proper housekeeping in compressor package.

Qualifications

25 years of experience in the maintenance department in the oil and gas industry.

Knowledge of reviewing P&l and electrical drawings.

Can work with a minimum of supervision and be able to manage his time when given multiple tasks.

Diploma in Mechanical & Electrical or higher

Should have a valid driving UAE driving License
