Role Summary
The role supports the Head of Business Line in achieving objectives and oversees daily office operations to maximise revenue, profits and potential. It leads a team day‑to‑day, providing technical support where required.
Responsibilities
- Comply with company systems, processes and procedures, ensuring the team follows the sales/quote/order process through to billing and payment.
- Contribute to the product line business development strategy and introduce new technologies and alliances, including liaising with suppliers and innovating new equipment.
- Provide leadership by example in safety and environmental aspects, ensuring the team demonstrates safe behaviour, adheres to EWOC, and wears correct PPE.
- Support the integrated management system and business policies, keeping all documents updated and rolled out to the team (SharePoint, UOR, etc.).
- Comply with all EnerMech QHSE policies.
- Manage monthly team objectives and ensure actions are completed for aged debt.
- Ensure AP invoices are completed weekly, update sales trackers and conduct client/customer visits to drive growth.
- Manage monthly client reporting, ensuring all reporting is completed.
- Oversee sales team workload, prioritise individual accounts and manage client visits regularly.
- Identify AFE requirements.
- Complete performance reviews on a quarterly basis.
- Review technical capabilities within the team to keep knowledge of product line current and up‑to‑date.
- Target and engage prospective clients aggressively to generate new revenue streams.
- Demonstrate a hunter mentality by developing leads, winning contracts and expanding the client base.
- Lead generation and subsequent approval of proposals for all new enquiries.
Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft systems (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Technical knowledge of the business line.
- Ability to deal face to face with clients.
- Valid driving licence.
- Strong commercial and financial understanding.
- Previous experience in a similar role (preferred).
- Strong leadership skills.
- Knowledge of EnerMech business activities and product line.
- Business development or operational experience in the offshore oil and gas industry.
