Job summary

Wood is seeking ambitious UAE nationals to join our Oil & Gas engineering team based in Sharjah, UAE.

Open to fresh graduates and professionals with up to 10 years' experience who are passionate about contributing to the UAE energy sector while developing a long-term career with Wood.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams to support operational excellence, safety, project delivery, and business performance in a dynamic, regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Chemical Engineering.
• Internship or university project experience within the energy sector is an advantage.
• 3-10 years of experience within Oil & Gas, Energy, Petrochemical, EPC sector.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations, maintenance, engineering, or project activities within oil and gas facilities.
• Monitor operational performance and contribute to the safe and efficient execution of work.
• Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing projects, shutdowns, and maintenance activities.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, documentation, and operational updates.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Collaborate with internal departments, contractors, and stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and HSE standards.
• Contribute to risk assessments, audits, inspections, and safety programs.
• Analyze operational and performance data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
• Participate in training, development programs, and knowledge-sharing activities.
• Support sustainability and innovation initiatives across the business.

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Chemical Engineering
• Internship or university project experience within the energy sector is an advantage.

Experienced Professionals (3-10 Years Experience)

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
• 3-10 years of experience within Oil & Gas, Energy, Petrochemical, EPC sector
• Experience in in a similar role
