Job summary

Tanqeeb in Dubai is seeking a Civil/Architectural Engineer to support the Technical Office across active retail, mall, commercial, and F&B fit-out projects. You will prepare and review BOQs, coordinate shop drawings and as-built drawings, and manage technical documentation with consultants and site teams.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 1+ year of UAE fit-out experience, with strong coordination and communication skills to drive project success on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering — required.
• 1+ year of relevant experience in commercial, retail, or interior fit-out projects.
• Experience in a Technical Office environment.
• Hands-on experience with BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs, and/or QS documentation.
• Experience preparing or reviewing shop drawings and as-built drawings.
• Good understanding of Architectural / MEP coordination.
• Strong site coordination, follow-up, and communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.
• UAE fit-out experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review BOQs and quantity take-offs.
• Prepare, review, and coordinate shop drawings and as-built drawings.
• Prepare and follow up on RFIs, material submittals, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate Architectural and MEP requirements with consultants, subcontractors, and site teams.
• Provide technical support and resolve site-related technical issues.
• Coordinate with the site team to ensure drawings and technical requirements are properly implemented.
• Follow up on technical submissions, approvals, and project documentation.
• Assist with coordination between the Technical Office, site team, consultants, and other project stakeholders.
