Job summary

Tether Operations Limited is seeking a Technical Lead for GPU infrastructure. This remote-friendly role focuses on owning architecture and delivery of a GPU compute stack, including a bare-metal Slurm layer, Kubernetes control plane, and scalable inference services.

You will lead a distributed team across backend, frontend, DevOps and QA, ensuring high availability, observability, and collaboration with research and product groups. Exceptional English communication is required.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of hands-on engineering, including leadership of infrastructure teams.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in CS or engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Slurm at scale and HPC/GPU clusters.
• Strong Linux systems and kernel knowledge.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes, multi-tenant deployments and cloud-native tooling.

Responsibilities

• Own the platform architecture end-to-end for the GPU infrastructure stack.
• Lead and line-manage a distributed engineering team across backend, frontend, DevOps and QA.
• Design and operate a bare-metal GPU scheduling layer with Slurm and CUDA baseline management.
• Own Kubernetes control plane and GPU enablement, including upgrades and day-2 operations.
• Oversee multi-GPU inference serving at scale with reliability and observability.
