Job summary

Amazon's AWS Legal Department in Dubai, UAE, seeks a technology lawyer to support cloud services across the MENA region. You will review, negotiate and draft technology contracts including licensing, reseller and procurement agreements and respond to tenders.

The ideal candidate has a JD/LLB, 5+ years post-bar experience, excellent drafting and negotiation skills, and familiarity with cloud, cybersecurity and data privacy.

Qualifications

• J.D. or LLB with bar admission in a recognized jurisdiction.
• Minimum 5+ years of post-bar legal experience.
• Excellent communication, drafting and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Review, negotiate and draft a wide range of technology contracts and subcontracts including licensing and procurement agreements.
• Respond to requests for proposals and tenders.
• Develop and support internal policies and training on public procurement compliance.
