Role & responsibilities
To lead the hydraulics team in delivering high-quality technical solutions, drive business development activities, and ensure achievement of sales and service targets in line with company objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership & Operations
- Lead and supervise the hydraulics team to ensure smooth execution of projects and services.
- Allocate tasks, monitor performance, and provide technical guidance to team members.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.
- Technical & Project Management
- Oversee hydraulic system installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
- Support in design, selection, and commissioning of hydraulic equipment.
- Coordinate with clients and internal teams to ensure timely project delivery.
- Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the hydraulics sector (products and services).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Prepare and present technical proposals, quotations, and tenders.
- Achieve revenue targets through proactive sales and customer acquisition.
- Reporting & Strategy
- Report progress, sales pipeline, and project status to management.
- Provide market feedback and competitor analysis to support strategic planning.
- Contribute to annual sales and business growth plans.
Preferred candidate profile
- Bachelors degree/diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in hydraulics (sales along with service)
- Proven leadership experience managing teams and projects.
- Strong business development and client relationship skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Knowledge of hydraulic systems, components, and industry standards.
