Job summary

A leading firm in hydraulics based in the United Arab Emirates seeks a Hydraulics Team Leader to drive technical solutions and business development. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, at least 7 years in hydraulics, and strong leadership abilities. Responsibilities include overseeing project execution, managing a team, and developing new client relationships. Excellent communication and technical skills are essential for this role.

Role & responsibilities

To lead the hydraulics team in delivering high-quality technical solutions, drive business development activities, and ensure achievement of sales and service targets in line with company objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership & Operations
    • Lead and supervise the hydraulics team to ensure smooth execution of projects and services.
    • Allocate tasks, monitor performance, and provide technical guidance to team members.
    • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.
  • Technical & Project Management
    • Oversee hydraulic system installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
    • Support in design, selection, and commissioning of hydraulic equipment.
    • Coordinate with clients and internal teams to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Business Development
    • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the hydraulics sector (products and services).
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
    • Prepare and present technical proposals, quotations, and tenders.
    • Achieve revenue targets through proactive sales and customer acquisition.
  • Reporting & Strategy
    • Report progress, sales pipeline, and project status to management.
    • Provide market feedback and competitor analysis to support strategic planning.
    • Contribute to annual sales and business growth plans.
