ADNOC invites an experienced Reservoir Navigation/Geosteering Team Lead in Abu Dhabi to oversee engineers and RNS professionals, aligning well prognosis with drilling plans and operational site execution.

You will guide technical decisions, supervise contracts, and drive adoption of new Geosteering technologies while ensuring compliance with UAE ADNOC standards and client asset integrity.

• Supervises technical support for Reservoir Navigation/Geosteering operations including pre/post well 2D interpretation/modeling and log production/QC.
• Provides technical advice and guidance on Reservoir Navigation/Geosteering operations.
• Manages and approves the execution of service contracts including quarterly allocation of services to contractors.
• Secures additional services needed for expansion of work including new rigs, new fields and special projects.
• Manages and monitors contractor performance and the allocation of services based on market share and capabilities.
• Supervises the introduction of new Geosteering/RNS technologies.
• Manages special projects as assigned.
• Comply with all UAE, ADNOC, ADNOC Drilling and client Asset Integrity Management codes of practice.

JOB PURPOSE

Manages a team of Engineers, RNS to provide professional reservoir navigation/geosteering support to operational sites to ensure all drilling operations are carried out successfully in line with the well prognosis and plan.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Minimum Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in Geosciences or a related earth science discipline.
