Job summary

ADNOC Drilling Company in Abu Dhabi is seeking a senior Reservoir Navigation/Geosteering supervisor to lead a team of engineers and ensure drilling operations strictly follow the well prognosis and plan.

The role requires overseeing 2D interpretation, providing technical guidance, managing service contracts, expanding coverage with new rigs and fields, and adopting new Geosteering/RNS technologies while complying with UAE and ADNOC standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Geosciences or related earth science discipline.
• 8 years’ experience in drilling services.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a drive for results.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the technical support provided for Reservoir Navigation/Geosteering operations including pre/post well 2D interpretation/modeling and log production/QC.
• Provides technical advice and guidance on Reservoir Navigation/Geosteering operations.
• Manages and approves the execution of service contracts including quarterly allocation of services to contractors.
• Secures additional services needed for expansion of work including new rigs, new fields and special projects.
• Manages and monitors contractor’s performance and the allocation of services based on market share and capabilities.
• Supervises the introduction of new Geosteering/RNS technologies.
• Manages special projects as assigned.
• Comply with all UAE, ADNOC, ADNOC Drilling and client Asset Integrity Management codes of practice.
