Job summary

Emirates British Nursery (EBN), part of GMG Group in Dubai, seeks qualified staff for early childhood education under the British National curriculum. The role focuses on safety, development, and high-quality care within the EYFS framework.

Successful candidates will possess a university degree in Early Childhood or Education (or a Level 3 qualification with experience) and native English proficiency, with Dubai relocation plans encouraged.

Qualifications

• University degree in Early Childhood or Education with a Level III certification.
• Or a high school diploma combined with a Cache Level 3 qualification and at least two years of experience in care or education of children.
• Must have native-level English proficiency.
• Currently residing in Dubai or planning to relocate to Dubai.

Responsibilities

• Undertake activities with all children to ensure safety and developmental progress.
• Carry out planned educational activities and programs promoting independent learning.
• Provide high standards of care within the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
• Encourage inclusion and adapt activities to meet all students’ needs.
• Monitor, assess and record children’s individual needs with the Learning and Development Profile Book.
• Ensure the welfare, health, safety and security of all children in the Nursery.
• Participate in assessments and prepare reports on children’s progress.
• Assist with other tasks as assigned by management.

Core Responsibilities:

• Undertaking activities with all children to ensure their safety and facilitate their physical, emotional and educational development.
• Carry out planned educational activities and programs of learning whilst promoting independent learning.
• To provide a high standard of care and educate working within the framework of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
• Encourage acceptance and inclusion of all children and use appropriate skills to adapt activities necessary to meet the needs of all students.
• To monitor, assess and record children’s individual needs with the Learning and Development Profile Book.
• To be responsible for the care, welfare, health and safety and security of all children within the Nursery.
• To participate in assessments of and preparing reports on children’s work and development.

What we arelooking for:

• University degree in Early Childhood / Education or other specialization provided that it is accompanied by a certified vocational certificate in the care and education of early childhood children (level III).
• Or a high school diploma provided that they are combined with a certified vocational certificate in the care and education of early childhood children (Cache Level 3) with at least two years of experience in the care or education of children.
• Must have a native-level proficiency in English.
• Currently residing in Dubai or have plans to relocate to Dubai, regardless of job opportunities with us is preferred.
