About the Role

The Teacher - Computer Science will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons that inspire students to succeed and achieve strong academic outcomes. The position requires a reflective and adaptable teacher who can respond effectively to different learning needs while maintaining high expectations for achievement, behaviour, and student development. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, curriculum support staff, and other professionals while contributing to curriculum development, assessment, extracurricular activities, and the broader educational life of Al Mamoura Academy.

• Work alongside fellow teachers to plan engaging lessons that meet curriculum requirements.
• Liaise with colleagues and work flexibly to support student learning.

Teaching and Learning

• Demonstrate a clear understanding of the curriculum.
• Plan, prepare, and deliver Computer Science lessons for students across the full ability range.
• Organize classroom provision and learning resources to create a positive and engaging environment.
• Motivate pupils through enthusiastic and imaginative teaching.
• Observe and assess students in accordance with school assessment procedures.
• Reflect on classroom provision, lessons delivered, and student progress.

Assessment and Data

• Take responsibility for the academic progress of assigned classes.
• Meet school requirements for assessing and recording student development using Target Tracker.
• Use assessment data to inform future planning, provision, and intervention.
• Monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies where appropriate.
• Provide parents and carers with feedback regarding student progress.
• Participate in Parent Teacher Conferences and other meetings relating to student achievement and well-being.

Behaviour Management and Duties
