Job summary

tech carrot in Dubai is seeking a data engineer to assess complex new data sources and rapidly convert them into actionable insights on our Azure Data platform.

You will design robust data pipelines using Microsoft technologies and Databricks, collaborate with multiple engineering teams, and translate data insights for non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience with relational and non-relational databases.
• Strong analytic skills for structured and unstructured data.
• Proficiency in data analysis, manipulation, and statistical modeling (Spark, Python, Scala, SQL).
• Experience building Jira dashboards based on tasks.
• Project management experience is a plus.
• Azure DevOps experience to deploy data pipelines via CI/CD.

• Collect progress updates from Squad on a regular basis.
• Consolidate updates into weekly project status reports for Squad Leads.
• Participate in early stage design and feature definition activities.
• Implement robust data pipelines using Microsoft and Databricks stack.
• Create reusable and scalable data pipelines.
• Collaborate with multiple engineering teams to integrate prototypes into core intelligence products.
• Explain complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders clearly.
