Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or related field.
• Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CA, CTA, or equivalent is preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of UAE tax experience.
• Strong knowledge of UAE Corporate Tax and VAT regulations.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Tax Officer role based in the Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates. The Tax Officer will manage day-to-day tax activities, including preparing and reviewing tax returns, supporting VAT and other local tax filings, and ensuring timely submission of all required documentation. The role includes monitoring tax regulations, interpreting tax laws, and advising internal stakeholders on the tax implications of business transactions. The Tax Officer will coordinate with finance and accounting teams to reconcile tax accounts, support month-end and year-end closing, and maintain accurate tax records. The position will also involve liaising with external auditors and tax authorities, responding to queries, and contributing to process improvements to reduce tax risks and enhance compliance.
