Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy
- Define and execute the long-term digital assets strategy for TLS in the ME.
- Ensure governance, prioritization, and alignment of technology initiatives with PwC global standards and local business needs.
Technology Portfolio Oversight
- Oversee and manage a portfolio of 20+ digital tools, including in‑house development (e‑invoicing solutions, reconciliation engines, AI agents and AI workflow tools) and localization of global PwC solutions.
- Lead automation & analytics initiatives using Power Automate, Alteryx, Databricks, and Power BI.
- Ensure sustainability, scalability, and cost‑effectiveness of deployed solutions.
Team Management
- Lead and develop a cross‑regional team of 20+ professionals. Build a high‑performance culture, with clear goals, coaching, and continuous improvement.
AI Enablement
- Act as the key technology lead for AI initiatives within TLS, design and implement AI‑enabled solutions, ensuring robust infrastructure and realistic expectation management.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as the primary liaison with global PwC technology teams, internal IT, Finance, and Risk & Quality. Translate complex technical topics into clear, business‑oriented messages.
- Report regularly to TLS stakeholders (CEO, COO, CFO, CTO, business line leaders) on project portfolio, budgets, and outcomes.
Governance & Financials
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, and cost management for digital assets and provide transparency on costs, projects, and performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external standards, including cybersecurity and risk management.
Requirements
Education & Experience
- 12+ years of experience in technology strategy, digital transformation, or IT leadership roles, preferably within professional services, consulting, or large enterprise environments.
- Proven record of accomplishment of leading large, multi‑disciplinary teams in a high‑pressure environment.
- Strong background in project and portfolio management.
- Exposure to tax or legal services is advantageous, but not essential.
Technical Expertise
- Solid understanding of application development lifecycle, software architecture, and cloud infrastructure.
- Experience with data & analytics technologies (Alteryx, Databricks, Power BI) and automation platforms (e.g., Power Automate).
- Knowledge of AI technologies, their infrastructure requirements, limitations, and risks.
- Awareness of cybersecurity and data governance best practices.
Leadership & Soft Skills
- Excellent communication and influencing skills; ability to translate technology into business language.
- Strong change management and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Proven ability to manage senior stakeholder expectations and balance competing priorities.
- Experience in managing distributed, cross‑cultural teams.
