A leading professional services firm in the UAE is seeking a high-performing Senior Associate to join its Corporate Tax team. This role involves working with a diverse portfolio of domestic and multinational clients, delivering high-quality compliance and advisory services. The ideal candidate is ACA/CTA qualified with strong experience in UAE Corporate tax, capable of managing multiple engagements and producing concise, well-structured deliverables.

In Corporate Tax, you will focus on offering Corporate Tax advisory and working with our Delivery Centre on compliance, dispute resolution and tax accounting services to clients. You will provide advice and guidance on tax planning, strategy, helping businesses optimise their tax positions and navigate complex tax regulations to ensure compliance.
We are seeking a high-performing Senior Associate to join our UAE Corporate tax team (Dubai or Abu Dhabi office). You will work with a diverse portfolio of domestic and multinational clients across a range of sectors, delivering high-quality compliance and advisory services. This is a client-facing role that combines technical tax analysis with stakeholder engagement and the opportunity to contribute to business development. You will work with our Delivery Centre (i.r.o compliance) and support the Managers and Senior Managers in the team to collaborate across our wider Deals, Legal, Indirect tax, Transfer Pricing, International Tax and Assurance practices to help clients navigate complex tax issues, manage risk and unlock commercial value.
You will support the team in managing end-to-end delivery of Corporate tax engagements, including planning, execution and reporting, under the supervision and guidance of Managers and Senior Managers. Responsibilities include reviewing Corporate tax computations and returns, deferred tax calculations, overseeing client data requests and resolving technical queries. You will also support with complex advisory mandates such as group reorganisations, financing, structuring and interest deduction limitation rules. You will also support with the implementation and documentation relating to the Domestic Minimum Top Up Tax (DMTT) and other evolving domestic and international tax developments. You will prepare high-quality technical analyses, briefing papers and client deliverables, articulating risks, options and recommendations clearly and succinctly. You will supervise and coach junior team members, review their work, provide timely feedback and contribute to technical training and knowledge sharing. You will coordinate multi-disciplinary project teams, track budgets and timelines, and manage engagement economics, risk procedures and quality standards. You will build strong client relationships, proactively identify issues and opportunities, and support proposal development, credentials and thought leadership. You will stay current with legislative and regulatory change and FTA guidance and contribute to internal technical forums and methodologies.
You are an ACA and/or CTA qualified (or equivalent) with post-qualification experience in Corporate tax within a Big 4 or mid-tier environment (academic and/or professional Legal and/or Accounting qualifications will be an advantage). You have strong knowledge of corporation tax with UAE Corporate tax knowledge and experience being an advantage. You demonstrate proven experience preparing Corporate tax returns and computations and advising on complex technical areas. Exposure to Tax Accounting is advantageous. You are comfortable managing multiple engagements concurrently, with strong project management discipline, attention to detail and a commitment to delivering on time and on budget. You communicate complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, producing concise, well-structured written deliverables. You are collaborative, proactive and commercially aware, with a growth mindset and a client-service ethos.
You are proficient with MS Office and tax compliance platforms, and familiar with data extraction and transformation for tax compliance and reporting. You are comfortable utilising and developing market leading tax technology to support your role and deliver value to our clients, including AI, automation and analytics.
