Job summary

Lulu center - Sole Proprietorship LLC in the UAE seeks a Tax Specialist to manage corporate tax, VAT filings, and related compliance. You will support tax planning, coordinate with stakeholders, and assist with audits to ensure accurate reporting.

The role requires 5-8 years of corporate tax and VAT experience, strong UAE tax knowledge, and familiarity with OECD guidelines. Retail industry experience is preferred, with emphasis on analytical skills and effective communication.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of Corporate Tax and VAT experience.
• Strong knowledge of UAE Corporate Tax, VAT, and Transfer Pricing.
• Experience in tax audits, tax accounting, and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines.
• Experience in the retail industry preferred.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and timely filing of corporate tax, VAT returns and other tax filings.
• Review tax computations for accuracy and completeness of filings.
• Support audits with documentation and responses to tax authority queries.
• Develop and execute tax strategies to minimize liabilities while ensuring compliance.
• Collaborate with senior management to evaluate tax impact of business decisions.
• Prepare tax memos documenting positions on tax matters.
• Support tax provisioning for financial reporting and reconcile tax balances.
