Confidential Company in the UAE seeks a senior corporate tax expert to manage UAE tax matters and ensure VAT compliance across the group. You will prepare and submit tax returns, liaise with the FTA and external auditors, and monitor regulatory changes affecting the business.
The role requires 7–10 years in Corporate Tax/Tax Advisory, strong UAE tax knowledge, and excellent analytical and communication skills. Immediate joiners preferred.
Manage all corporate tax matters for the Group across the UAE
Ensure compliance with UAE Corporate Tax VAT and other applicable tax regulations
Prepare review and submit Corporate Tax and VAT returns accurately and within statutory deadlines
Liaise with the Federal Tax Authority FTA and external auditors on tax-related matters
Monitor changes in UAE tax legislation and assess their impact on the business
Provide tax planning strategies to optimize tax efficiency while maintaining compliance
Conduct tax health checks and identify potential compliance risks
Review contracts commercial agreements and transactions from a tax perspective
Support mergers acquisitions restructuring and other corporate transactions with tax advice
Maintain proper tax documentation and ensure audit readiness
Coordinate with Finance Legal HR Procurement and Business Units on tax-related matters
Develop and implement tax policies and internal controls across the Group
Respond to tax assessments audits and inquiries from regulatory authorities
Master's / Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.
Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CA, CPA, CTA, or equivalent are highly preferred.
Minimum 7–10 years of experience in Corporate Tax, VAT, or Tax Advisory.
Strong knowledge of UAE Corporate Tax Law, VAT Regulations, and FTA compliance requirements.
Experience handling tax matters for multiple companies or a diversified business group is preferred.
Excellent understanding of financial statements and accounting standards.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple entities simultaneously.
