Role Description

The Tailor at The Hala Gallery will be responsible for tailoring garments and textile pieces that complement the gallery's artistic vision. Day-to-day tasks include taking accurate measurements, conducting fittings, tailoring and dressmaking, and ensuring high-quality finishes and construction.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong tailoring and dressmaking skills, including garment construction, alterations, and finishing.
• Candidates should possess fitting and measurement skills to ensure precise, comfortable, and aesthetically pleasing results.
• Candidates should possess communication and customer service skills to interact professionally with clients and understand their needs.
• Experience working with different fabrics, patterns, and designs, with attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Ability to work on-site in Abu Dhabi, manage time effectively, and handle multiple client requests and projects.
• Prior experience as a tailor or in a related garment production role; vocational training or certification in tailoring or fashion design is an advantage.
• Creative mindset and interest in art, design, or fashion, with a willingness to align work with the gallery's aesthetic.
