Support actuator selection, integration, and performance trade‑off studies
Ensure alignment with platform‑level constraints: power, thermal, control, and mechanical packaging
Lead system validation through simulation, lab tests, ground, and flight testing
Execute V&V plans for response time, environmental qualification (DO‑160, MIL‑STD‑810), and lifecycle performance
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including avionics, flight control, and airframe design
Conduct root cause analysis and corrective action planning during development or operational phases
Participate in FMEA, hazard analysis, and system reliability assessments
Support internal and external design reviews (PDR, CDR) and maintain documentation and compliance records
Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Aerospace, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering (required)
Master’s degree in related field or actuation specialization (preferred)
Minimum 10 years in aerospace/defense engineering
At least 5 years working directly with actuation systems in UAVs, aircraft, missiles, or robotic platforms
INCOSE ASEP or CSEP (preferred)
OEM training or certifications in actuator or control systems (beneficial)
Familiarity with AS9100D / ISO 9001 (preferred)
System modeling: MATLAB/Simulink, Simscape, Amesim
CAD: CATIA, NX, or SolidWorks
Documentation & traceability: Requirement management tools (e.g., DOORS)
Strong systems‑thinking approach and comfort with multidisciplinary interfaces
Analytical mindset with practical problem‑solving skills
Effective communicator across engineering and program teams
High attention to technical detail and process rigor
Mission‑focused, adaptable, and resilient in fast‑paced defense environments
Eligible for UAE defense/security clearance and open to relocation
