Job summary

CMC Markets invites a Systematic Trader in the UAE to oversee quantitative trading and market making across multiple asset classes for our institutional offering. You will work closely with the Head of Systematic Market Making, Quant Analysts, Data Scientists, and risk managers to optimize strategies and pricing.

The role focuses on developing real-time algorithmic trading systems, improving risk controls, and driving profitability while aligning with regulatory obligations and best execution

Qualifications

• Strong analytical background in an engineering/quantitative discipline.
• Ability to analyse large data sets and extract actionable insights.
• Experience developing real-time algorithmic systems and production code.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage quantitative trading and market-making strategies.
• Develop and refine risk models, signal generation, portfolio construction, and liquidity models.
• Ensure pricing systems provide accurate price and liquidity for products.
• Lead execution, alpha research and risk management across asset classes.
• Maintain controls, monitoring, and safety features for automated trading apps.
• Collaborate with risk management to understand market, credit, and liquidity risks.
