Job summary

Parker Connect announces an opportunity for a Switchgear Design Engineer in Dubai. The role focuses on designing PCC/MCC and LV/MV switchgear, along with control and automation panels.

You will develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts, and configure Schneider PLCs using Control Expert. Key responsibilities include PLC I/O configuration, interlocking, testing, and coordination of panel design, assembly, testing, and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Experience designing switchgear and control panels for PCC/MCC/LV-MV systems.
• Proficient in configuring and programming PLCs using Control Expert.
• Familiar with EPLAN documentation and panel layouts.

Responsibilities

• Design PCC, MCC, LV/MV switchgear and control panels.
• Develop wiring diagrams and panel layouts; modify schematics.
• Configure Schneider PLCs and perform PLC I/O and interlock testing.
• Coordinate panel design, assembly, testing and commissioning.
• Ensure designs comply with electrical standards and project specs.
• Support VFD, HMI/SCADA integration and industrial communications.
