Job summary

Emirates Panel Company Trading LLC is seeking a Design Engineer for LV switchgear and electrical panels in Dubai. The role focuses on developing GA, SLD, schematics, and BOMs while ensuring compliance with IEC standards and local regulations.

You will interact with consultants, clients, and project teams to resolve design comments and approvals. The candidate should have at least 3 years of hands-on LV switchgear/design experience, with proficiency in AutoCAD, EPLAN, and ERP systems, and strong

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years hands-on LV Switchgear / Electrical Panel Design experience required.
Experience in switchgear manufacturing or panel-building environments preferred.
Ability to develop GA, SLD, wiring diagrams and BOMs meeting IEC standards.

Responsibilities

Review project documents to understand scope and design requirements.
Prepare technical submittals, datasheets and drawings for approvals.
Conduct busbar sizing, short-circuit and temperature-rise calculations.
Coordinate with consultants, clients and project teams for design clarifications and approvals.
Provide technical support to production during panel manufacturing and testing.
Assist with FAT/SAT planning and on-site site verification when required.
Maintain design records, revision history and project documentation.
