Job summary

Azizi Developments is seeking an experienced Façade Surveyor to perform precise site surveys and measurements for aluminum façade works. The role supports Design, Engineering, Production, and Installation teams by providing accurate data for shop drawings, fabrication, and installation.

The candidate should have 5–8 years in surveying, knowledge of façade systems, and strong skills with Total Station, Auto Level, and Laser Level.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of relevant surveying experience.
• Experience in aluminum façade, curtain wall, glazing, cladding, or building envelope projects preferred.
• Proficient in Total Station, Auto Level, and Laser Level.
• Ability to read architectural, structural, and façade/shop drawings.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; BIM/Revit is an advantage.
• UAE/GCC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed site surveys and measurements for aluminum façade systems.
• Verify site dimensions, levels, grids, openings against approved drawings.
• Establish control points, benchmarks, datums, and reference lines for installation.
• Identify discrepancies between site conditions, structural works and drawings.
• Prepare survey reports, measurements, sketches and mark-up drawings for teams.
• Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Managers, Consultants and other disciplines to resolve issues.
• Provide data for shop drawings and fabrication drawings preparation.
• Verify setting-out and alignment during façade installation.
• Ensure installed façade elements comply with drawings, tolerances and specs.
• Follow all HSE requirements during site surveys.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Façade Surveyor to conduct accurate site surveys and measurements for aluminum and façade works. The role will support the Design, Engineering, Production, and Installation teams by providing precise site data required for shop drawings, fabrication, and installation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed site surveys and measurements for aluminum façade, curtain wall, glazing, cladding, windows, doors, louvers, and other façade systems.
• Verify actual site dimensions, levels, grids, openings, structural interfaces, and installation conditions against approved drawings.
• Establish and check control points, benchmarks, datums, and reference lines required for façade installation.
• Identify discrepancies between site conditions, structural works, and approved architectural/shop drawings.
• Prepare accurate survey reports, measurement records, sketches, and mark-up drawings for the Design and Engineering teams.
• Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Managers, Consultants, and other relevant disciplines to resolve dimensional and interface issues.
• Provide site data and technical input for the preparation and revision of shop drawings and fabrication drawings.
• Verify setting-out and alignment during façade installation, including plumb, level, line, and positioning of brackets and supporting systems.
• Conduct regular checks to ensure installed façade elements comply with approved drawings, tolerances, and project specifications.
• Coordinate with Structural, MEP, and Civil teams to identify clashes and access constraints affecting façade installation.
• Use surveying instruments such as Total Station, Auto Level, Laser Level, and other relevant measuring equipment.
• Ensure all survey equipment is properly calibrated and maintained.
• Support the preparation of as-built survey information and final measurement records.
• Report site constraints, deviations, and potential installation issues to the Project and Engineering teams promptly.
• Follow all company HSE requirements and safe working practices during site surveys.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in surveying, preferably within the aluminum façade, curtain wall, glazing, cladding, or building envelope industry.
• Strong experience in conducting site measurements and setting-out for high-rise or large-scale projects.
• Proficiency in using Total Station, Auto Level, Laser Level, and other modern surveying equipment.
• Good knowledge of façade systems, installation methods, brackets, anchors, and structural interfaces.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and façade/shop drawings.
• Knowledge of survey calculations, levels, coordinates, and dimensional tolerances.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; experience with BIM/Revit is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• UAE/GCC experience is preferred.
