Overall Purpose of the Job

To supervise a team to complete the running of equipment onshore and offshore, ensuring successful safe operations in accordance with company procedures and thereby delivering a quality service to the client.

Key Activities and Accountabilities

• Supervise operations and allocate tasks to the team, ensuring safe completion of operational tasks and prevention of technical issues in line with the operating manual.
• Ensure checks are carried out on all equipment for compliance and technical correctness for the operation being performed.
• Carry out and ensure participation from the team in toolbox talks and planning meetings when required.
• May be required to work at onshore bases for preparation, return of equipment, and report preparation.
• Ensure that site support requirements are planned and executed as needed to facilitate continuous operations.
• Liaise with client representatives and participate in meetings and discussions in a professional manner, ensuring continuous quality of service to the client.
• Ensure completion of required documentation for company procedures, processes, and specific client requirements.
• Liaise with team members and the operations department as required to ensure all aspects of the operations are discussed with the relevant parties, enabling effective communication and safe operation.
• Work with colleagues and the supervisor to complete required competencies for the current and next role.
• Actively mentor subordinates to share knowledge and assist with their competency progression.

Job Knowledge and Qualifications

• Technical knowledge gained through completion of competency for grade.
• Formal technical qualification.
• 10+ years of related technical experience preferred.
• Team leader / supervisory experience.
