Job summary

TalentOne is seeking an experienced Superintendent - Construction (Piping) for a major Oil & Gas EPC project in the UAE. You will lead piping construction execution across assigned areas, directing supervisors and contractors from fabrication readiness through mechanical completion.

Responsibilities include planning work fronts, coordinating deliveries, monitoring productivity, and ensuring safety, testing, and handover readiness of piping systems.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 12+ years in piping construction, including 5+ years leading major site piping activities.

Responsibilities

• Plan piping work fronts, erection sequences and manpower in line with project priorities.
• Direct supervisors and subcontractors on fabrication, installation, supports and tie-in execution.
• Coordinate spool deliveries, lifting access, scaffolding and material availability.
• Monitor productivity, quantities and schedule performance and implement recovery measures.
• Coordinate welding progress, examination status, inspection release and repair priorities.
• Ensure test boundaries, test readiness and reinstatement are managed through approved procedures.
• Resolve construction interfaces with engineering, equipment, civil and commissioning teams.
• Lead safe execution, punch clearance and handover readiness for assigned piping systems.
