Position Summary

We are recruiting for a Superintendent to be based in our Dubai office. The role supports projects in Abu Dhabi as well and focuses on concrete repair, masonry restoration, waterproofing, and structural strengthening in commercial and industrial settings.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Project Managers, Division Managers, and leaders within the STRUCTURAL GC&C business line.
• Participate in pre-project and pre-task planning activities and disseminate planning details to field crews.
• Motivate team members and coordinate work activities with other construction project activities, assigning work based on material and worker requirements of specific jobs.
• Ensure crews operate all tools and equipment safely, properly, and productively.
• Provide training and assistance to crews in the performance of work-related tasks.
• Assist Project Managers in evaluating various production rates related to the project.
• Complete all essential paperwork clearly and accurately.
• Interview and hire new field employees.
• Provide leadership to the company’s Safety 24/7 culture.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent.
• 8 years of experience in general construction with at least 3 years in a Foreman or Assistant Superintendent role.
• Prior experience in general repair type projects including concrete repair, structural strengthening, waterproofing, and corrosion control.
• Experience running 4 projects simultaneously, ideally in an industrial construction environment.
• Proven ability to supervise various levels of field managers and crews with minimal subcontractor oversight.
• Ability to read, interpret, and execute construction drawings and contract specifications.
• Dedication to safety and adherence to company operating principles.
• Experience producing look-ahead schedules and working with construction documents.
• Effective communication with customer crew and project teams.
• Intermediate computer skills and construction math skills.
