Job summary

Careers International in Dubai seeks an experienced QA/QC Engineer to support DEWA substation projects. The ideal candidate has project experience and must hold DEWA Substation Approval.

You will manage QA/QC activities, ensure conformity with drawings and specs, conduct site inspections, document records, and coordinate with consultants, DEWA representatives, and project teams. UAE project experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification in a relevant discipline.
• Relevant experience in substation/construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures and documentation.
• Good understanding of technical drawings and project specifications.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor QA/QC activities for substation projects.
• Ensure construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications and quality standards.
• Conduct site inspections and coordinate required inspections.
• Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation and inspection records.
• Coordinate with consultants, project teams and DEWA representatives.
• Identify quality issues and ensure appropriate corrective actions are implemented.
• Ensure compliance with project quality requirements.
