A leading engineering firm is seeking a Subsea Precommissioning Engineer for their Abu Dhabi branch. The successful candidate will be responsible for various precommissioning activities, including interface management, procurement of installation aids, and supervising team operations on site. The role offers a 12-month contract with a standard working schedule of 9 hours a day for 5 days a week. Candidates should be prepared for residency and must attend client meetings regarding precommissioning issues.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for interface and document reviews.
• Prepare precommissioning plan and specifications.
• Specify procurement and mobilization of installation aids.
• Review and approve procedures and clarifications.
• Coordinate interfaces between equipment and vessels.
• Supervise precommissioning activities on site.
• Assist Installation Manager with scheduling.
• Attend client meetings regarding precommissioning issues.

Job description

ISS International S.p.A. Abu Dhabi Branch is looking for a Subsea Precommissioning Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for Interface with provide inputs to and review documents issued by the following departments: Detail design Interface Installation Engineering Fabrication.
• To prepare the precommissioning plan philosophy specifications and requisitions for the precommissioning activities.
• To specify and follow up the procurement fabrication and mobilization of the installation aids required for the precommissioning activities.
• To review and approve the procedures and clarifications/qualifications.
• To coordinate the interfaces between equipment spread(s) and the vessels on which they will have to be mobilized.
• To supervise the precommissioning activities performed by the precommissioning team on site either on offshore/onshore facilities or on installation vessels.
• To assist the Installation Manager for the operation schedule set up and modifications
• To attend meetings with Client regarding problems arising from precommissioning and commissioning activities.
• To setup the mechanical completion management system following COMPANYs specification and implementation/management of this system during operations.

Job Location: ABU DHABI (UAE)

Envisaged Starting Date: April 2025

Duration: 12 months liable to extension

Standard Working Schedule: 9 hours a day / 5 days a week;

Rotation: resident with 30 holidays/year

Contract: Local Employment with Work Visa and Residence Permit by Company
