Job summary

ISP is seeking a dedicated pastoral care professional to support student wellbeing in a school setting. You will provide day-to-day pastoral guidance, monitor attendance, and collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to promote a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma (degree preferred) and strong communication skills with experience in education or youth support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent) required.
• Degree in Education, Social Work, Psychology, or related field preferred.
• Experience with young people in educational or pastoral settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day pastoral support and guidance to students.
• Monitor attendance and punctuality; follow up on unexplained absences.
• Promote positive behavior and support school conduct policies.
• Mentor students and assist with personal development goals.
• Communicate with parents/guardians about wellbeing and progress.
• Plan and support pastoral programs, events, and assemblies.
• Be vigilant for safeguarding concerns and report them appropriately.
• Maintain accurate records of pastoral interventions and prepare reports.
