Overview

We are looking for a talented Student Recruitment Officer to join the American University in the Emirates. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and co-coordinating all activities related to student recruitment and provide advice guidance and assistance relating to the application and documentation for the admissions process.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelors Degree in Business Administration Media and Communication or related field
• Must be Bilingual (speaks English and Arabic fluently)
• At least 3 to 5 years of experience working in student recruitment and enrollment in a reputable university

Skills / Training / Knowledge

• Knowledge of multiple point marketing strategies (P2P B2B Online and Traditional Media)
• Excellent communication skills written and spoken in both Arabic and English
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships
• Working knowledge of UAE higher education sector

Job Responsibilities

• Welcoming new students to the university dealing with student and parent inquiries
• Responsible for university tours to familiarize new students with AUE campus departments and services
• Participating in education career exhibitions locally and internationally
• Conducting professional presentations to various stake holders in UAE and Middle East
• Handling and processing new student applications files
• Orientation for new students: Helping students get familiarized with new atmosphere through presentations workshops and various activities
• Planning and coordinating the university calendar of events and log book maintenance and data entry
• Onboarding for new students: making sure all student-related needs are arranged and executed properly such as housing visa tuition fee payment etc.
• Practicing high standards of customer service with students parents schools principals and teachers
• Identify and secure funding from various sources to support the University mission in line with the university advancement and fundraising plan.
• Cultivate relationships with current and prospective donors ensuring their continued engagement and support for the institution.
• Perform any duties as assigned by the superiors.
