About the job Structured Cabling Technician

we are hiring !! Job Title: Structured Cabling Technician

The Structured Cabling Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting structured cabling systems, including copper-based and fibre-optic cabling. This role involves working in various environments to ensure optimal network performance and compliance with safety standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, terminate, and test network cabling (CAT6, fiber optic cables).
• Minimum of 4 years of Structured Cabling technician fiber and copper experience.
• Fiber cable installation and splicing testing with Power/OTDR Meter.
• Identify and resolve network issues related to cabling.
• Plan network infrastructure for new applications and services.
• Test and evaluate network systems to eliminate problems and improve performance.
• Comply with safety and building codes.
• Document network layout, hardware types, and wiring connections.
• Provide training and support to end-users as needed.
• Order network cabling supplies and equipment.

Qualifications:

• Experience with network cabling installation and maintenance.
• Knowledge of different types of network cabling (copper, fiber optic, structured cabling systems).
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical prints.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to work in various environments, including outdoors and in all types of weather.

Ability to climb ladders and work at heights.

Availability

Willing to join within 15 - 20 days

Candidates should have relevant experience in structured cabling and be willing to work in the UAE & Qatar

Visa and accommodation will be provided by the company.

Salary - paid in AED
