Job summary

China State Construction Engineering Corporation Middle East (CSCEC ME) in Dubai is recruiting Structural Drafters for a large-scale construction project. You will produce GA, shop, construction, and detailed drawings from IFC specifications and site requirements.

Responsibilities include creating foundations, columns, beams, slabs, walls, stairs, and reinforcement drawings, coordinating with BBS/IFC, and resolving clashes via RFIs.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 5+ years’ experience in building projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare structural GA, shop, construction, and detailed drawings based on IFC drawings and project requirements.
• Prepare structural drawings for foundations, columns, beams, slabs, walls, staircases, and other structural elements.
• Prepare reinforcement drawings and coordinate with BBS and IFC drawings.
• Review and coordinate structural shop drawings from subcontractors with architectural and MEP drawings.
• Prepare structural coordination drawings and identify clashes for resolution through RFI.
• Coordinate structural drawings with MEP services, openings, sleeves, embedded items, and precast elements.
• Prepare survey coordination drawings based on approved drawings and site survey information.
• Update drawings as per approved design changes, site modifications, and instructions.
• Prepare as-built structural drawings based on actual site conditions and approved modifications.
• Coordinate with Structural Engineers, Site Engineers, MEP teams, subcontractors, and other disciplines to resolve drawing-related issues.
