Purpose: Support the Centre of Excellence in developing evidence-based recommendations and implementation strategies through applied research, benchmarking, data analysis, and policy assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
- 1. Conduct applied research and benchmarking on customs, trade, and logistics to support policy development and reform initiatives.
- 2. Perform benchmarking studies and comparative analyses on customs, trade, and logistics.
- 3. Analyze operational challenges and develop practical recommendations to support strategic initiatives.
- 4. Collect, validate, and analyze qualitative and quantitative data to generate actionable insights.
- 5. Develop executive presentations, research reports, policy briefs, and analytical summaries for senior stakeholders.
- 6. Support policy development, business cases, and impact assessments.
- 7. Support stakeholder interviews, workshops, and working sessions, documenting outcomes and key decisions.
- 8. Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather information and validate findings.
- 9. Maintain knowledge repositories, benchmark databases, and research materials.
- 10. Support publication and dissemination of research findings.

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Public Policy, Economics, Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
Experience:
- 1. Minimum 2 years of experience in public advisory, strategy, analytics, or transformation.
- 2. Demonstrated experience in customs, logistics, supply chain, and international trade is preferred.
- 3. Experience preparing executive presentations, reports, and quantitative analyses.
Competencies:
- 1. Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills.
- 2. Knowledge of customs, logistics, international trade, or supply chain.
- 3. Advanced Excel, quantitative modeling, and analytical tools (e.g. Power BI).
- 4. Executive report writing and presentation development.
