Job summary

AECOM is seeking an Urban Planner to join its Abu Dhabi office. The role supports the development of contextually responsive and economically viable urban planning solutions within a collaborative studio environment.

The ideal candidate will apply strong analytical skills in spatial and strategic planning, with experience or qualifications in urban economics or housing being highly desirable. The team emphasizes teamwork and delivering high-quality outputs within tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and Adobe Suite.
• Driver's license is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for strategic planning, land use planning and master planning.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of planners, urban designers, landscape architects and engineers.
• Prepare client-ready presentations of project deliverables.
• Liaise with government agencies regarding development objectives and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with QA policies and procedures.
• Assist in business development opportunities and proposals.
