Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Risk Manager to support the implementation of integrated risk management across major capital programmes. You will plan, design and implement risk processes tailored to client needs, aligned with industry best practice, and articulate the benefits of risk management.

You will facilitate workshops, produce risk reports, drive mitigations, mentor risk specialists and conduct quantitative cost and schedule risk assessments to inform contingency levels.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in a relevant discipline with a minimum of 8-15 years relevant work experience or previous proven experience in a risk management environment.
• A working understanding of an integrated risk management process (risk, cost and schedule) on large programmes or projects.
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and a genuine commitment to finding new and more effective ways of working.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design and implement risk management processes tailored to client needs and aligned with industry best practice.
• Articulate the benefits of risk management.
• Assist in risk, threats and opportunities activities to manage risk and seek efficiencies across client’s projects and programmes.
• Facilitate risk workshops with clients and project teams.
• Develop risk management processes and practices to aid clients and their organisations.
• Produce risk reports to communicate threat and opportunity status.
• Drive the implementation of mitigation actions against associated risks across projects and programmes.
• Identify and develop measurable risk responses and assess post-mitigated positions.
• Develop and drive efficient risk contingency processes that are suitable with client needs.
• Maintain visibility of threat/opportunity trigger points to facilitate risk cost profiling and budgeting.
• Lead and mentor risk specialists to influence a large number of stakeholders.
• Conduct quantitative risk assessment (cost and schedule) to inform project contingency levels.
