Job summary

AWR in Dubai is seeking a procurement professional to source suppliers, obtain quotes, and process purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of goods and services. You will maintain vendor relationships, track inventory needs, and ensure compliance with procurement policies.

The ideal candidate has 3-4 years of experience in procurement, strong negotiation skills, and solid knowledge of Oracle ERP, MS Excel, and UAE market dynamics.

Qualifications

• University degree in commerce or related field.
• Familiarity with procurement policies, tendering and contracting.
• Experience with material specifications and UAE market knowledge.
• Proficient in ERP systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of procurement processes and procedures.
• Receive PRs from various departments and business entities.
• Float enquiries and invite quotes.
• Negotiate price, payment terms, and delivery time within budget.
• Prepare purchase orders and contracts with full documentation.
• Capture savings and report BU-wise.
• Utilize P2P systems in procurement and supply.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders.
