Job summary

Mace is seeking a planning professional to collaborate with the planning function, ensuring projects and tenders are effectively planned, scheduled and monitored. You will lead planning for medium-complexity projects or major programme segments, supporting teams to deliver timely, profitable outcomes.

You will oversee budgets, risks, governance and carbon-reduction initiatives across project delivery, while coordinating with clients and consultants to drive performance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Built environment experience with strong programme, sequencing and scheduling capability.
• Good understanding of contracts, procurement routes, contract administration.
• Effective communicator with sound decision-making, stakeholder management and constructive challenge skills.

Responsibilities

• Champion Safety First, wellbeing and inclusive behaviours across project delivery.
• Manage quality, programme and deliverables from brief through construction.
• Oversee budgets, risks, governance and sustainable business outcomes.
• Manage teams, stakeholders and consultants to drive performance, collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Manage robust plans reflecting logistics, site and project constraints.
• Monitor progress, productivity, deadlines and contractual obligations, providing clear reporting.
• Coordinate teams and engage effectively with clients, project teams and stakeholders.
• Integrate safety, sustainable procurement and carbon reduction to support net zero delivery.
