Job summary

Al Tayer Group in Dubai is seeking a Merchandising Planner to develop the division/brand merchandise strategy through seasonal and yearly product and location sales plans, including forecasting and allocation of product to maximise sales and gross margin. The role requires strong analytical skills, ability to communicate with senior management, and experience in large-scale retail merchandising.

• Able to communicate effectively at Management Level.

Responsibilities

• Deliver category sales, gross margin and sell-through performance to plan.
• Participate in the development of annual sales budgets and forecasts by analyzing data on seasonal/ yearly trends.
• Monitor performance against plan and take actions to maximize sales and margins.
• Manage replenishment orders and inventory to meet targets.
• Communicate trading issues and forecasts with senior management and Buying team.
• Drive merchandising strategies across divisions and stores.
