Job summary

Apparel Group in Dubai seeks an experienced Buyer to plan and select the range, type, quality and quantity of merchandise in line with customer demand, trends, store policies and budgets. You will lead seasonal strategies, negotiate with new suppliers, manage OTB and monitor performance to maximize sales and margins.

Collaborate with Brand Manager/GM, Marketing and VM to ensure product alignment, timely delivery and effective in-store presentation, while maintaining profitable supplier

Qualifications

• Plan and select range, type, quality and quantity of merchandise according to customer demand and trends.
• Set prices and sell-through targets in line with budget.
• Negotiate with suppliers on pricing, terms and promotional involvement.

Responsibilities

• Carry out buying activities in-line with brand buying plans.
• Maintain profitable relationships with suppliers and monitor contract terms.
• Drive seasonal strategies and formulate Gross Margin Plan.
• Develop assortment and investment plan.
• Manage OTB planning and calendar.
• Collaborate with Marketing and VM to drive product initiatives.
• Analyze weekly sales performance and adjust production flows to maximize sales.
• Oversee range hierarchy and seasonal phasing, and ensure in-store visuals align with guidelines.
