Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking an experienced Materials Planner/Planner-Procurement in Dubai to coordinate material flow from suppliers and internal teams. You will plan and schedule material and production needs, ensuring adherence to production schedules and KPIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college.
• 6+ years experience in Procurement, Production Planning & Inventory Management within manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience in ERP based planning and materials management system with strong understanding of processes.
• Knowledge of BOM management and hands-on experience with PLM systems.
• Ability to manage supplier relationships, operational risks, and customer delivery commitments.
• Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials from suppliers and within departments according to production schedules.
• Plan and schedule material/production needs and update production schedules and purchasing needs.
• Drive On-Time Delivery (OTD) performance through proactive planning and issue resolution.
• Partner with production, procurement, and planning teams to ensure material availability and address supply constraints.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and serve as liaison between customers, GE teams, and suppliers.
