Job summary

The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in global energy markets, strong leadership, and a track record of translating complex intelligence into clear strategic recommendations for executives in a fast-evolving energy landscape.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business/economics/engineering or related field.
Minimum 15 years of professional experience in business development, competitive intelligence, marketing or closely related strategic functions.
At least 10 years in managerial or advisory positions involving senior-level decision support.
Substantial experience within the oil and gas industry is essential.
Strong executive communication skills and ability to present to senior management.

Responsibilities

Lead market research covering oil, gas, energy markets and related sectors.
Develop and continuously improve market research methodologies and intelligence capabilities.
Provide expert interpretation of global and regional energy market developments to senior leadership.
Prepare concise market outlooks and executive-level recommendations for decision-making.
Monitor changes in demand, supply, pricing, and competitive positioning.
Define competitive intelligence objectives and establish data collection programs.
Coordinate with government bodies and strategic external partners.
Translate complex findings into actionable conclusions for executives.
Deliver regular presentations on market developments and emerging themes.
