Job summary

A leading organization in the UAE is seeking an IT Operations Manager to supervise daily IT functions and manage technology infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fields and 6-8 years of relevant experience, including supervisory roles. Responsibilities include managing help desk operations, developing IT policies, and overseeing departmental training programs. This role brings the opportunity to work closely with the Chief Technology Officer on strategic planning and implementation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline; Microsoft accredited.
• 6 – 8 years technology systems management experience desired; 4 years’ experience in a supervisory capacity.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience of PC applications, network administration, and telecommunications systems.
• Experience in implementing and maintaining disaster recovery solutions.

Responsibilities

• Manages the daily operation and maintenance of the organization’s entire technology program.
• Manages user support Help Desk operations including high-level support.
• Develops and maintains departmental and organizational IT policies and procedures.
• Works with the Chief Technology Officer to recommend technology functions.
• Acts as a third line support resource for the helpdesk team.
