Job summary

Transguard Workforce Solutions is seeking a Specialist - IT Governance & Risk based in Abu Dhabi to ensure IT processes, services and operations align with business objectives and regulatory requirements. The role involves managing IT-related risks, audits, and reporting to leadership.

You will develop governance and risk frameworks, oversee audits, and ensure compliance with ISO 27001:2022, ISO 20000:2018, Cyber Security Council, TDRA and other standards in coordination with stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in IT with 5 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s with 3 years of experience.
Certifications (CISSP, CISA, ITIL, ISO 27001, ISO 20000, CCSK) are highly desirable.
Hands-on experience with IT governance frameworks and regulatory compliance standards.
Experience in project management and in developing IT policy and standards.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain IT governance framework including policies, processes and KPIs.
Maintain IT risk assessment framework and risk mitigation strategies.
Monitor risk exposure and update management strategies accordingly.
Prepare risk reports for management and compliance requirements.
Represent IT as ERM champion and oversee internal/external audits.
Ensure compliance with ISO 27001:2022, ISO 20000:2018 and relevant standards.
Develop long-term IT roadmaps aligned with goals and future growth.
Identify emerging technologies and innovations for strategic initiatives.
