Job summary

Nexus Group is seeking a Governance Risk and Compliance Specialist to strengthen IT audit documentation and knowledge management across our critical IT environment in Dubai.

The role combines practical technical understanding with rigorous documentation, working with IT and stakeholders to develop clear SOPs, validate them in practice, and identify gaps, dependencies and control weaknesses while helping establish enduring standards that remain effective beyond the engagement.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years experience in governance compliance operations, systems administration, or a related role with hands-on technical exposure.
• Proven experience developing and maintaining SOPs, runbooks, knowledge bases or technical procedures.
• Practical working knowledge of core IT environments including networking, device and endpoint management, identity and access management, and business productivity platforms.
• Ability to understand and operate technical systems to validate documentation and engage with technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Map and prioritize critical IT systems, processes, procedures and documentation.
• Develop clear SOPs, runbooks, process maps, and supporting technical documentation for in-scope activities.
• Establish documentation standards covering ownership, version control, review cycles, approvals and change history.
• Maintain a central knowledge base and ensure documentation remains current throughout the engagement.
• Identify undocumented steps, dependencies, access requirements and areas needing additional knowledge.
• Collaborate with IT Manager and process owners to validate procedures and secure sign-off.
